課程概述 |
本課程為歷史研究所碩士班與大學部三四年級開設,研討西洋文明史上重要的文獻資料。全程一學期十八週,每週三小時(三學分),除了第一週的導論與最後一週的結論外,每週閱讀一篇英文資料並進行討論。選讀資料將於開學時印發。 |

課程要求 |
選課學生須具良好的英文閱讀能力,並熟悉西方文化史發展大況,且於課前對於各主題人物思想的基本背景加以瞭解,方能配合課上的討論。每位選課學生必須選擇二至三篇文章(視選課人數而定)作為其上課時所負責的重點報告與概念說明之課題,但所有學生均應閱讀全部的指定資料並參與討論。修習者須於期末繳交一份研究報告,其主題必須出自本課程的閱讀範圍,相關規定將於課上說明。本課程另有期末測驗。
